4th Avenue Band  4th Avenue Band performs a groovy mix of blues with soul n feel! A seasoned, dedicated group, with smooth vocals & driving rhythmic guitar, covering artists such as Peter Green, Howlin’ Wolf, Robert Johnson, Tony Joe White, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, JJ Cale, Ry Cooder, Keb Mo, Boz Scaggs, Albert King.. For the past 8 years our keys player has performed regularly at Inverloch Festival in various outfits (inc Sassy Sisters) Formed in 2013 the band has played at many popular venues around Melbourne,and performed at the Eltham Jazz , Yarraville, & Docklands Blues festivals, proudly making its debut at the 2015 Inverloch festival.​

Admiral's Own big Band & Jazz Band

Anita Harris has been part of the Australian jazz scene for more than 2 decades, with 4 recordings available under the Newmarket label. She first stepped onto the stage to perform to a jazz audience in 1993, and began an entertaining and celebrated musical journey, performing in many private and public venues, jazz clubs and festivals, restaurants and wineries. It’s been a most enjoyable trip so far. Described by Australian Jazz Scene as "one of those very rare vocal stylists who have a wide appeal to a range of age groups and jazz preferences in her audiences", one UK journalist wrote, "She has a strong fluid contralto which she employs to produce a delightfully creamy sound and she swings ably and effortlessly." Here at Inverloch, she is backed by around 200 years of jazz experience: Kim Harris on piano, Alan Richards on drums, Graeme Steel on trumpet and David Taylor on bass.

B3 Madness performs original tunes and the occasional standard, creating contemporary jazz while reflecting the history of the great organ trios of the past. The band's goal is to create fresh new music, featuring spirited improvisation.

Clare Castle Jazz Band This band was originally inspired by the early jazz greats such as King Oliver and Kid Ory, and later influenced by such bands as the Dutch Swing College and Chris Barber. In the past fifteen years they have evolved their own distinctive easy-going style of Dixieland Jazz”.

Cul de Sac - A popular fixture of the Festival for a number of years.  This year they are joined by renowned guests to provide two sets of great jazz standards.

Diddy Reyes and The Blues Maniacs
dubbed as an elvis casino style show, a full bells and whistles rhythmnblues, danceband playing all the big boppers of the early 60s a twisting good time, drawing on influences such as ray charles,elvis presley and big joe turner, with a line up of some of the industries most respected players this is a fast paced upbeat dance party bound to get the party jumping and twisting!

Groovin with Grunt - Their music settles into a swingin' groove creating energy and excitement in the mainstream genre.

The Grubs - 6 piece dixieland trad jazz band from Melbourne. The Grubs perform the exciting hot jazz that came largely out of New Orleans in the 20's and 30's. With an emphasis on polyphonic improvisation, general absurdity, pseudo-political references and allowing some more modern influences to slip into their performance, The Grubs are certainly exciting to watch. If you're Pyne-ing for a jazz fix, we have just the solution. Featuring Christopher on reeds, trumpets and rhythms.

The Mordialloc Jazz Orchestra (MOJO) are a well loved group especially at Dizzy’s Jazz club.  Their various styles of music such as big band, jazz and swing, are a testament to quality sounds with a fun atmosphere! With Peter Foley’s skilled guidance it will be a sensational night.

New Melbourne Jazz Band Even if you have never thought about jazz, it won't take you long before your feet are tapping and your body swaying with the swing of many of the old favourites. In 1984 The New Melbourne Jazz Band were made Official Jazz Ambassadors for the City of Melbourne and Melbourne Tourism Authority, by the Rt Hon The Lord Mayor Kevin Chamberlin. Playing as support group for visiting international jazz bands including Acker Bilk, The Dutch Swing College Band and Kenny Ball.
International festivals have included - The Sacramento Jazz Festival which led to invitations to more festivals in the US and Canada including Eureka, Redding Medford Sun Valley, Pismo Beach,Phoenix, Sunnyvale, Modesto, Cathedral City, Victoria in British Columbia .

Out For The Count The band plays a mixture of swing soul and blues.They are a hard driving outfit, with a rhythm section which really COOKS!! Not to mention some of the best soloists around.

Patsy O'Neill Quintet A favourite for many years at Jazz Festivals, Patsy concentrates on singing songs from the great American songbook.

Pippa Wilson and Festival Band

Ms. Pippa Wilson is the jazz singer that everyone tells everyone else about. She has the rare vocal quality that snaps audiences to full attention, swinging hot or cool with the great standards from the 1920’s through to the 50’s and beyond. Singing jazz since 1979 she made her debut with the New Harlem Jazz Band. Since that time she has worked with most of Melbourne’s top musicians and has become a well respected and popular member of the jazz fraternity. Shirazz is a six-piece Melbourne trad jazz and dixieland band, specialising in classic hot jazz of the 20s and 30s, and has been fast gaining a reputation as one of Melbourne's premier jazz bands.Shirazz plays classic trad jazz as it was meant to be played. With hot solos, driving rhythms and tight arrangements, a set from Shirazz is a step back in time, to a jumping New Orleans dance hall where fast, hot tunes intersect with swinging standards and laid-back Louisiana street beats. With the odd original tune and some re-imagined pop classics, Shirazz should be enjoyed irresponsibly, and in excess.

SOLEAD Q perform their music with a passion and spirit that combines creative energy into an artistry of a rare captivating nature. With each distinctive composition, Solead Q has the sound of flamenco and the vibrancy of caribbean rhythms with the technical precision of classical music and the seductiveness of latin jazz grooves.

Honkytonk's Boogie Band   Led by Melbourne based Honkytonk Pianoman, Mark Nunis, Honkytonk's Boogie Band play a mixture of originals and Blues n' Boogie tunes from the 50's & 60's era. The line-up consists of Piano, Bass and Drums, where each member sings to add the sound of this rockin' trio. Members of HBB have been involved in the Australian 50's Rock n' Roll, Blues and Jazz music scene for many years and have performed for many dances, festivals and pubs.

Jazz Running Wild                                             Trad
The band “Jazz Running Wild” are a group formed from young musicians who are part of the Under 25’s Victorian Jazz Workshop who recently  performed  at the 69.Australian Jazz Convention held in Swan Hill.   They mostly play all the old jazz standards.  Their performance at Swan Hill was spectacular to say the least and prove that while we have these wonderful young musicians  learning , “Our Trad Jazz will live on”

Jon and Wendy Wade and the Outsiders Jon needs no introduction as one of the finest jazz pianists in Australia.  His wonderful arrangements of some jazz favourites are delivered by Wendy in her own passionate style.  A great line up of exceptionally talented musicians, including son Harrison, join Jon and Wendy on stage to present some of the best arrangements of Jazz standards yet!

Merri Creek   We delight in playing the older numbers that most people have forgotten or are too young ever to have known .

Miss Brigid and her mixed nuts enjoy entertaining all audiences.  Miss Brigid started her musical journey as a classically trained opera singer but you wouldn't know that now.  Music is a great way to connect with others.  You can sit back and listen and enjoy or you can add a smile and a few giggles - either way is lots of fun.  As the name suggests, our style is mixed but we easily go from jazz to blues to cabaret and back again and most, if not all our material, has a touch of comedy and we never hesitate to get our audiences to join in with a song or two.

Nicole Thorne Trio The Trio has performed at a number of concerts and festivals, engaging audiences with their interplay between the instruments, and their sheer joy of playing together.

Riffmasters Emulating the extraordinary cultural gift of the African Americans to modern music with a heady mix of Chicago blues, Soul and Motown classics - enjoy

Rory Clark Quintet features a stellar line-up of musicians from Australia and the USA. Inspired by musical legends such as Bill Evans, Dexter Gordon and Antonio Carlos Jobim; this outstanding quintet will feature tunes from the legendary Blue Note Label, as well as original compositions from Rory Clark that take the listener on a journey from the soulful blues of Kansas city, to the gentle bossas of Rio, to the pinnacle of modern jazz from the New York Jazz Clubs. 

Romajanco - Janece Alexander, voice and guitar and Roman Goldine on guitar, performs with the highly acclaimed Australian jazz musician Joe Ruberto on piano accordion. Enjoy Brazilian bossa and samba songs and instrumentals, along with jazz standards.
They are joined by the combined expertise of Dean Addisson on double bass and Denis Close on drums and percussion.

Ron Anderson Trio This popular and accomplished trio plays a wide range of music, ranging from Miles Davis standards through to the Beatles (Now some 50 years old)

The Ruby Page/Joe Ruberto Jazztet  Silky smooth, sassy, seductive, all describe jazz singer Ruby Page. An ultimate performer, she has surrounded herself with some of Melbourne's notable musicians such as Joe Ruberto with his magical keyboard skills and vocals, the brilliant Bob Venier on Trumpet, Flugelhorn and vocals, the sexy saxophone tones of Barrie Boyes and a driving rhythm section comprising the very talented Eiji Takemoto on bass and on drums Rob Mercer  Add to this impressive line up the special vocal trio harmonies of Ruby, Joe and Bob and you have an excellent range of classic, standard and Latin jazz tunes which will leave audiences with a, not to be missed, memorable listening experience. www.rubypage.com

Salvo Big Band The Salvo Bigband is an eighteen piece band presenting music from the jazz standards of Count Baise, Neil Hefti and Lennie Neihaus to the contemporary charts of Gordon Goodwin as well as original compositions from members of the band. As part of the Salvation Army, members of the band share a common faith in God and enjoy making music is an extension of that faith.
In 2010 the band represented the Australian Salvation Army in Sweden at an international youth convention. Since then the band has performed at a range of events, jazz festivals to the annual Salvation Army 'Christmas Gift’ at Hammer Hall, backing artist including The Idea of North, Chris Sebastian, and Kane Alexander.

Streeton Crt Big Band Based in South Gippland we rehearse once per week in Leongatha.. The personnel are drawn from the local area and as far away as Mirboo North. Our repertoire is from the forties big band era through to the present. The band has performed at various events including the Inverloch Jazz festival, Foster Rotary Ball, and private functions.

Tony Gould Trio It would be fair to describe Tony Gould as an Australian Jazz Icon. At this, his second appearance at the Inverloch Jazz Festival with renowned bassist Geoff Kluke and the festival stalwart Graham Morris on drums
