​Due to renovations ongoing from April 2026, the Inverloch hub will not available for this year’s Inverloch Jazz Festival (IJF) 
Given that there are only three venues now available, the committee regrets that they are unable to book everyone who wishes to perform at the festival in 2026.
To best accommodate our audience we are endeavouring to provide as broad a representation of Jazz styles as possible. 
However if you are not booked to a session in 2026 please consider applying in 2027 when we will have a full complement of venues available.

a large bass floating,
scored over the inlet breeze
pianists compete for what’s left of cool.
Notes are transfused eternal,
the flamenco trio has a new language
George Michael to a different beat.
The sky draws sail boards in bluesy clefs
the old blokes banter in sets,
so familiar they change key with a look
marry Rodrigo in Autumn Leaves,
tapping feet counting in vintages.
Torch singers coy the crowd,
drummers get their solos
saxophones blow a curing mist.
Buskers play kiss chasey for a place,
strangers smile a harmony.
A day is gifted on to another
all silky wrapping smooth as sway.

The IJF Committee would like to express its sincere condolences to the family of Clive Budd for their loss of a great man, respected musician, and stalwart of the Festival and Committee for many years. He will be sadly missed.
